• Ash is a multidisciplinary creator based in Victoria & Ucluelet, Canada.

Ash resides on the unceded Coast Salish Territory of the Lekwungen and WSÁNEĆ nations (Victoria, BC) as well as the traditional territory of the Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ nations (Ucluelet, BC). Ash is an artist, designer and illustrator. She is also neurodivergent, meaning she experiences the world differently than most. She leverages her unique perspective, sensitivity, curiosity and compassion to illuminate both the beauty and the struggle of what it is to be human.

Her practice, which begins long before she touches brush to canvas, is dedicated to embracing the beauty of imperfection and transparently honouring the work's material, purpose and history. Ash employs a rigid creative process in her practice, which allows her to create freely within its safe confines.

Ash has a diploma in Visual Arts from Camosun College. She has been invited to exhibit in Canada and the United States. She has also engaged meaningfully as an artist in residence, synthesizing the distinctive senses of its space, surroundings and culture into minimalist abstract expressions.
